Craig Eugene Frye, age 65 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
He was born May 26, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Harold and Mildred (Ingersoll) Frye.
He married Virginia Chapko in 1975.

Craig was a veteran of the US Army. He loved taking walks and fishing. He enjoyed playing the
guitar and listening to music. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his family and grandkids.
He is survived by his son Craig (Nichole) Frye Jr. of Owosso and daughter Amy Frye of Lake City, six grandchildren: Cameron, Cadence and Colten Frye and Hailey, Brooklyn and Gary Drexler.
Craig is also survived by three brothers: Frank (Dolores) Frye, Randy Frye and Ricky Frye all of Lake City and many nieces and nephews.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, a son Eric Eugene Chapko, a brother Terry Frye, his wife Virginia and a half-sister Sandra Frye.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Young Funeral Home.
A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
Burial will take place in the Pioneer Township Cemetery
