Cody Ryan Vaughn of Cadillac passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Cadillac.
He was 23 years old.

Cody was born October 18, 1991 in Cadillac.

Graduating from Lake City High School in 2010, Cody was a certified welder. He was employed by Avon Protection of Cadillac.
He liked to occupy his time playing the guitar, singing and drawing and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed mud bogging and working in his vegetable and flower gardens.

Cody is survived by his son Hunter, his mother Janet (Brian) Keegan of Big Rapids and his father Ryan (Heather) Vaughn of Lake City, a sister Sarah (David) Hutchinson of Lake City and a friend Jessica Phelps and daughters Jerika and Jenny Lyn. He especially adored his nieces Morgan, Olivia and Sloane Hutchinson.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Paul and Joanne Reedy of Big Rapids and his paternal grandparents Karen and Charles Sherman of Lake City. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him.

Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Margaret and Paul Smith.
