Beverly J. Heeren of Lake City, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. She was 69 years old.

Beverly was born April 7, 1944 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Paul and Mary (Allen) Kapp.

She married Eric R. Heeren June 4, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beverly graduated from East Liverpool High School where she was an honor student, a cheerleader and Homecoming Queen. She went on to further her education and graduated
from Youngstown University, majoring in English and began her career as an elementary school teacher.

Beverly had the distinct honor of being a former Miss Ohio and was selected as 3rd Runner Up in the Miss America Pageant. She was a proud supporter of the American Legion Post #300 in Lake City. She enjoyed reading books and was a big animal lover.

She is survived by her husband Eric, a daughter Kimberly (Jon) Anderson of California,
two grandchildren: John Scott and Troy Michael and two sisters: Marylou Allison and Paulette Boyd both of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Charlotte Wanni.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014, in East Liverpool, Ohio. The place and time will be announced at a later date.
