Beatrice A. Gryglewski, age 93 of Lake City passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her home.

She was born in Detroit December 16, 1921 to James and Julia (Misiak) Samp.

Beatrice married Ted Gryglewski November 13, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Beatrice wore many hats; she worked in factories, restaurants, had her own cleaning company and was a model. She was very involved in St. Stephen Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Richardson of Lake City, a sister Ruth Tessler of Lake City and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers and a son Daniel.

A memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Lake City with Rev. Bryan Medlin officiating. Burial will be in the Old Jennings Cemetery followed with a luncheon at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
