Alma Marie Swiger, age 74 of Lake City passed away at her home March 22, 2018.
Alma was born May 28, 1943 in Reeder Township of Missaukee County to Ernest and Jessie (Olson) Christie.
She married David Swiger on March 27, 1970 in Texas.
Alma retired as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed baking, reading, word puzzles and game shows. She liked the out of doors and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Post 300 Auxillary and the Lake City Senior Citizen Center.
Alma is survived by her husband David and three children: Bruce Trobridge of Allendale and Angela (Ed) Kutz and Allison (Mike) Sharpe both of Lake City, and grandchildren: Hailey Swiger, Robert,
Edward Jr and Bruce Kutz and Benton and Tenlee Trobridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Allegra Mills and Erma Jean Trowbridge and a brother Roger Christie.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home with
Chaplain Bump officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until the time service.
